Metamorphic Technique

What Happens in a Metamorphic treatment?

Lovely, relaxing, gentle treatment where the client reclines in the specialist reflexology chair. Traditionally the practitioner gives this treatment without much feedback, the idea being that changes simply follow the treatment, however often my clients ask me to “tune in” and relate intuitive feedback from the treatment – this is entirely individual and will be discussed at the time of the treatment.

Initially there is a consultation form to be completed to ensure there are no contraindications to the treatment and to discuss any questions/issues/anxieties. When the treatment is finished, there is time for feedback and aftercare advice.

Appointment time about one hour

How many treatments should I have?

This is entirely up to the client and can be discussed at the appointment

More about Metamorphic Technique:

Metamorphic technique originates from reflexology. It was discovered that light touch on particular points on the feet could be very effective and appeared to activate self healing.0_0_0_0_250_250_library_240509

By using a light touch to the spinal reflex points on the feet, hands & head, the Metamorphic practitioner acts as a catalyst to the person’s life force. The purpose of the technique is to help you effect change, hence the name. Blockages in the energy flow are naturally released allowing the person to free themselves from past influences, to let go and to move on. Metamorphic Technique is non-invasive, gentle and safe, and is accessible to everyone.

In some cases responses are immediately noticeable, while in others they are more subtle. They can range from general feelings of having more energy and confidence to improvements in physical, mental or emotional health, releasing of old habits or gradually letting go of past hurts. People often report significant changes in the way they see life and how they feel and think about themselves; in many cases they experience a growing sense of purpose and inner strength. It seems people may feel drawn to the Metamorphic Technique to create more of what they need in their lives, both as individuals and in the world as a whole. Some people have described it like ‘coming home to themselves’.
